Applause Theatre School was established over 25 years ago and is run by Samantha Bradshaw. She is supported by sisters  Veca (Singing Coach) and Kate (Dance Coach).

​

Applause Theatre School is based in Darlington (Hurworth Grange).

​

The school provides a unique and highly personalised method of learning, creating an environment to nurture, educate and encourage creative individuals to achieve the highest level of success.

​

Since opening their doors, they have been committed to helping people pursue a career they love. With a set of passionate teachers, exceptional support staff and a very talented student community, they are confident in the education, guidance and network they provide.

​

Shows are put on every other term for parents to see how their children are progressing.

​

Students are given every opportunity to audition for outside theatre companies and community acting roles.

​

Sam also runs private drama lessons for those who wish to do their LAMDA exams and receive grades for their education, gaining valuable UCAS points for use at higher levels; and delights in encouraging and nurturing older students with auditions for Drama College and Universities. In addition, Veca provides private singing lessons and LAMDA exams outside of the school.

​

The ethos of the school is a belief that every student gains as much individual attention as they need to maximise their opportunities. As such, the school keeps its enrolled numbers to realistic levels where everyone is involved, and everyone can flourish.
